Rush

Congratulations to the the Rush U13 team for winning the Illinois AAU Championship.  Rush now qualifies for the Division 1 level of the AAU National Tournament held this summer at Kings Island, Ohio.  At the National Tournament, Rush will face the best U13 girls travel teams from all over the United States.

The Rush Hoops team has been together since 2006 when the girls were in 4rd grade.  In the early years we primarily traveled within the tri-country area of Peoria, Illinois.  Later we began to travel and compete in AYBT tournaments throughout Illinois. Now we focus on AAU and USJN tournaments and travel throughout Illinois and neighboring states. We have accumilated many tournament championships over the years.  We typically compete in the highly skilled division of the tournaments we play in and occasionally we play a level above our own.  With our team you will see aggressive play and continuous movement at both ends of the floor.  Our success comes from our focus on fundementals and unselfish team play.  You will also see a team that exhibits the same tenacity and mental determination regardless if we are up by twenty or down by twenty.
